Unwanted Popup

I have just acquired my first Verizon Wireless unit, USB760, for my laptop.  There is a popup window in the lower righthand corner saying that a Verizon Wireless New WiFi Network is available.  When I click on this I get a window displaying Session Information.  How do I get rid of this popup.  Note  I am using Mozilla Firefox.

My hunch is that VZ Access Manager is managing your WiFi connections as well as the WWAN connection (EVDO data). You can turn this off in the VZAccess Manager software, I think in an options menu or the "Run Wizard."

Are you using a Mac where you can turn off Airport mode?  Or are you using a laptop with the Firefox browser?  Try Options/Run Wizard & choose detect WWAN device only.
