Hi - I want to setup a Verizon Mobile broadband account for my step-father, who lives in a rural area with nothing but dialup. The coverage map looks like he can get a decent Verizon signal there.
If I buy a used USB760 card, is there any issue with Verizon re-flashing it (or whatever they do) to assign it to a new account? I'm asking this because I'm used to GSM equipment, where you just change SIM cards and I want to be sure that I don't get stuck with some gotcha about not being able to re-use a used modem card.
Also, does anyone have experience/recommendations with range extender antennas for the USB760?
