I have recently bought a VL 600 modem and while attempting to connect to 4G on my desktop, VZAccess Manager displayed 4 bars next to the 4G network followed by a "Network Not Registered" error. After a couple of seconds, it reconnectes me to a 3G network just fine. I guess my problem is that I cannot connect to 4G even though I am in the area of coverage. Any sugggestions? Please and thank you!
Things I've tried:
- Called tech support. They checked my account which was fine. Then told me to bring it back to the verizon store
- I took the device back to a verizon store and when they tested it, it ran perfectly fine. So the device itself is not the issue.
- I do have the latest version of VZAccess Manager.
- Its currently on a desktop, running Windows 7. Not sure if there is a problem with the desktop because I could still connect to 3G
- Changed the settings on the device to run in only 4g mode. Attemps to connect a couple of times and then fails. Currently set to global.
