I recently purchased a new laptop and it is so much better than my old laptop that I am ready to retire. I noticed that my connection through the mifi was so much faster without VZ Access Manager installed. Once I installed the VZ Access Manager, it was slower. I then quickly uninstalled it as I didn't want to spoil anything on my new "toy".
Can I get away with just leaving the mifi plugged into the wall? The only thing I can think of is that I won't get any updates if I need them loaded onto the mifi device. Is this something I really need to worry about?
This is what I'm doing. I rarely plug the MIFI into my computer via USB... I've just left it sitting in the best location for signal & plugged into the wall - every once in a while I unplug it & turn it completely off for a while (like @ night when I'm in bed), I just figure this lets it rest & restart, kind of like a computer.
