I have a netbook with VZAccess Manager v7.0. I also run CheckPoint VPN software. On all our other laptops we do not have any problems. On the HP Netbook, The VPN software will not open consistently. Most of the time I have to restart the computer multiple times to be able to access the VPN connection. Anyone else ever have this issue and is there a work around or a fix?
I ran into this problem as well. After updating VZAccess Manager from vers. 6 to Vers 7 my checkpoint VPN login screen would not consistantly open. Eventually, after calls to VZ tech support and my own company's IT staff we all came to the conclusion that the best course of action was to roll back VZAcess manager to vers 6. I did so, then had to re-install checkpoint VPN. It all works now. That was several months ago and I haven't retried vers 7 since. It sounds like it is still a problem.
Any word on a fix coming out for this issue? I have about 150 users in the field and this is causing major problems. Does anyone know if ver. 6.7.3 will work with the Tour?
We will be switching over to a Cisco VPN client, so hopefully that may resolve the problem.
