Verizon MiFi NAT Firewall

According to the MiFi page here the Verizon MiFi has a NAT Firewall, is this true? If so how can I disable the firewall? My Nintendo DSi Gaming Device is incompatible with firewalls, thus I can't play online unless I can disable the NAT firewall.
