I am including this helpful link which will detail information on the Network Extender. It has been a great help to me in my home since I live in an area that doesn't have optimal coverage indoors.

 

The Verizon Wireless Network Extender works with almost any broadband or DSL Internet service & your Network Extender connects to your broadband router with a standard local area network connection (Ethernet) cable (provided with purchase). At least one available Ethernet port on your broadband modem or home router is required.
