We currently have a home phone w/DSL that we only use for internet (have cells for voice). Would like to discontinue the service and spend the $100+ a month elsewhere!
What do I need to setup Verizon Mobile Broadband for use on the desktop? Can I just use the one USB on both the desktop and then the laptop when we travel?
Thanks for your replies!

The USB modems will set up the same on desktop or notebook. Just be aware that the $59.99 plan is not unlimited. It includes 5 Gigabytes of data with overage charges of $0.25 per Megabyte. This may cover your use just fine. It depends on what type of content you view or use on while connected. verizonwireless.com will have a chart that will give you examples of what could be downloaded in 5 Gigabytes.
