Why can't Windows 10 Find my Jetpack?

We purchased an HP laptop running Windows 10 for my daughter. It will not find the MiFi Jetpack that we have. It will find other wireless networks around our house and it will connect to other wireless networks. The MiFi doesn't even appear in the list. We have done all available updates to the laptop. We have checked the firmware on the MiFi. We have tried to go through and manually add it but nothing has resolved the problem. Is there something else we should do? Thank you!

If the laptop cannot see the signal broadcasting from the MiFi then perhaps the MiFi is broadcasting on the wrong frequency. Try adjusting the MiFi to broadcast over 2.5 GHz instead of 5.0 GHz from the control panel or the Jetpack Admin page. The wireless adapter on the laptop may be looking for the other kind of signal.

It would help to know which Jetpack you have. Have you tried resetting the Jetpack and moving it right next to the computer? You can also try calling Customer Service (800) 922-0204.

It's a 6620L I believe. I have tried having the MiFi right by the computer. All of our other devices connect to it without a problem including my husband's laptop which is also Windows 10. I will try calling customer service this evening. Thanks!

Thank you! That worked! We didn't even think about that.
