Windows 7 VZAccess install fails

Has anyone else had this problem?

I had installed the MiFi package and now have to revert to the UM175 for my wife to take with her on a long trip. I downloaded the installer (VZAM_7.2.1_2420b_Pantech_UM175.exe) and when it runs, I get the error message "cannot file file "VZAM Config.xml".

I also attempted removing and reinstalling the old software manually and then get the error that the netpath "C:\Windows\\Installer\vzam" does not exist" (note the double slash in the pathname!) Direct editing of the VZAccess Manage.msi also didn't work.

I suspect a bug in the install script.
