I am attempting to configure two of my client's laptops to connect to a LAN via Verizon Wireless. With the laptops plugged into my office network, I have no problem connecting to the client’s LAN. When I unplug the network cable and try via the wireless adapter, I cannot connect.
One of the laptops has an Aircard 555 PCMCIA card and the other laptop has a Novatel USB727 wireless adapter. Both laptops can access the Internet. It appears as though a port is being blocked on the wireless network. The Windows firewall is turned off.
I have remote access to the client's router from my office and see the laptops staring the logging in / authentication process, so I know the laptops are getting to the WAN side of the router, but it always bombs out about half way through.
Any ideas?
