Wireless radio driving me crazy...HELP!!!

I recently bought a Dell with Verizon broadband built-in and wanted to disable the wireless radio.  Anybody know how to do this?  It’s driving me crazy!!!

From the Dell Mobile Broadband Card utility, there is a button to disable the radio. Alternatively you can disable the device directly in Device Manager under modems where it's probably listed as Dell Wireless 5700 Mobile Broadband (CDMA EV-DO) Minicard.
