im new at this and somewhat tech challenged. here it goes.. Can i set up my verizon wireless connection so that others can connect thru it?

Depends on what sort of connection you have. what device did you purchase for VZW? USB data card or a MIFI device?

As previously stated, it will depend on the device you have. If you have  Mifi or a Hotspot, others can connect to your Mobile Broadband service and get internet connection. 

If you have a USB modem, only the device connected will be able to use the Internet.
