When I try to install my device, I get the message that I do not have administrative rights.

I am the only user on this computer and have admin rights.

Anyone have ideas ?

When installing the device you should be able to right-click the program, and then click Run As Administrator.

It's a Mac computer correct?  If so, you must create a password and User Account in order to install ANY software.
