I think the problem with my network extender (samsung scs-26uc4) is the installation jack for the external antenna. It is very loose inside the housing, and I cant see how to take the extender apart to fix it. I took the extender to my moms house and plugged it in, and it picked up a signal in about 5 minutes without the external antenna. What I would like to try before I just trash this thing is to adapt the external antenna to the primary antenna mount. I removed the primary antenna (it just threads on), and it appears to use the same internal cable as the external, but the primary antenna uses a threaded mount while the external uses a push mount. The primary mount looks like a tiny coaxial mount (like cable television). Anyone know what size and designation both of the mounts are?
