I have the Verizon Wireless UM175 USB Modem modem and am trying to share this modem on two different laptops. It works fine on one laptop, but after installation of the VZ Access Manager software and inserting the modem on the second laptop, I receive an error 'Connection Failed - Connection Not Available".
The Verizon Wireless connection shows up in my window and I have three signal bars. I am using version 7.0.12.1 of the VZAccess Manager Software. Both Laptops are running WInXP Pro on T60 Thinkpads
Any help on this issue is appreciated.
Thanks.

Another thread may have the answer to your situation. https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/123994. You need to turn on the Remote Access Connection Manager.
