why can I receive calls and hear the caller but they cannot hear me?

I can connect to the network extender and receive calls.  The caller cannot hear me but I can hear them, anyone know what could be wrong?

Tell us about your internet service:

Who is your internet provider?

What brand and model modem?

What brand and model router?

Post a link to the test results from Speedtest.net. Also, post the result from the VoIP test site, when completed click Advanced and View Text to post the results.

Does the situation improve if you bypass the router and connect the Network Extender directly to the modem?

Hughesnet, Hughesnet Gen 4, Netgear Nighthawk R7000,http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/37372 but it is raining right now,  after the rain slowed up it was http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3737262440.  Could not get the other test site to work for me.

Unfortunately, page 2 of the manual says:

“Note: Satellite, MiFi or wireless connections are not supported.”

Hughesnet is satellite! If you could run the VoIP test you’d see high jitter and low MOS scores, and likely packet loss further indicating VoIP issues. Speedtest.net is showing +700 ms pings and 0.56 Mbps upstream bandwidth. This is terrible for digital voice communications and explains why no one can hear you.
