I recently purchase the hub and returned it a week later because the handset range was less than 50 ft inside my house. Verizon claims the handset has a range of up to 100+ feet. The handset range is equally poor when going outside into the yard. The ability of the unit to connect to the wirelss router is also very weak. We have numerous notebooks in our home that can get a signal from the router anywhere in the home. I had to set the hub up on my first floor within 15 ft of the router that is located in my basement in order to get an adequate signal. The concept of the hub is awesome, and I would have kept it had it not performed so poorly on connectivity. I hope they produce a 2nd generation unit that addresses these shortcomings. Has anyone had a similar experience with this?
