In an effort to provide the most relevant and up to date material for our members, the community team will be launching a User Generated Content Cleanup Project in 2 phases. This project will offer a host of changes including the unmarking of all unanswered questions asked before 2014. These questions will also be marked as “Outdated”, which will help with search relevancy. Approximately 25k pieces of content will be impacted during this first phase of the project. Answered questions from before 2014 and more recently asked unanswered questions will not be affected and will remain available to the community to engage with. After the successful launch of phase 1, for phase 2, we will be working on archiving old outdated product and services spaces to ensure the community is always serving the most relevant content.
Phase 1 of this project will run for one week. During that time, community members may receive extra notifications in their community and e-mail inboxes regarding old questions you have asked or answered. You may also see an increase in older, out of date content at the top of the activity stream. Please bear with us thru this process and disregard any notifications you may receive regarding old content. Phase 1 of this project will run over the course of a week, kicking off on 4/22/2016 during off peak hours, however you may still see older content appear in the activity stream during peak hours.
