I recently read that Verizon will cancel a phone plan if the phone is used in Mexico for longer than 60 days. Is this true?

Hi there,
Yes, Verizon does have a policy regarding extended international usage. According to Verizon's terms, if you use your phone in Mexico (or any other international destination) for more than 60 days within a rolling 90-day period, they may restrict your service or even cancel your plan. This is because their international plans are intended for short-term travel, not long-term use.
If you plan to stay in Mexico for an extended period, you might want to consider other options, such as getting a local SIM card or an international plan specifically designed for longer stays.
Hope this helps!
