I bought a LVP2 for my sister who has had a stroke. For those who don't know what that is, it's the Verizon Wireless Home device.
The issue we are having with it is that it takes her too long to dial a number and it goes to "fast busy" within a few seconds. It takes her longer to dial than what the device allows and, therefore, she cannot initiate a call.
The question is: Is the PDD (Phone Dial Delay) configurable on this device or is there a work around? Being a stroke victim, her having a portable device is out of the question. It would never get charged nor be placed in a cradle. I was using a regular phone (like a table top phone) and it works fine for someone with all their faculties, but not so well for someone who is impaired.
