Reverting to US internet sites after international travel

I used Verizon international travel plan for a trip to Germany and Austria and it worked great,].  Returned to US and everything seems fine EXCEPT on both Google and Safari (iPhone 6s) my internet search results appear with US connections and in En glish, but clicking on the links brings me to the Austrian or German sites.  Example, I teach Suit Supply.  The results include a US website for Suit Supply.  I click on it, and it moves me to the Austrian site.  I have removed and replaced the SIM, reset Network connections, turned location services off and back on -- nothing works.

Let's make sure your device is working as intended. Check the default country of your device by going to Google, and scrolling down to find settings. On the settings page, look for where it says region for search results. You can choose the region from the drop down menu from there.
