V Cloud Using >30% of PC RAM with Inconsistent Operation

Hi:

I am new to this Coummunity Forum, so please excuse my errors, if possible.

I am using a Windows10x64 Desktop PC with 12GB of RAM.  Have installed V Cloud on the PC just two days ago, and am having great difficulty getting things up and running properly.  So, here goes:

My PC has been running extremely slowly since installing the V Cloud.  Windows10 Task Manager shows:

  • ~6.3% CPU (of a total of 10%), that's 58% of RAM in use by V Cloud !
  • ~ >6 GB Memory,
  • and the  Power usage is varying between VeryHigh/ High/ and Moderate.

To start the V Cloud, I click on the V Cloud icon that is pinned in the windows tray area. Should I use the shortcut on my screen instead? Is there any difference on which one I use?

I ran a complete backup one time since installation.

I am getting inconsistent results when attempting to use V Cloud, anywhere from unresponsive, seizing up,  blank sceens, etc.; so far I have not been able to make use of the VCloud.

  •    Sometimes I am shown nothing but a blank window, which has (very tiny) Home, Library and More buttons located at the bottom of the window. (It  looks to me that the character size is 6 point.  Wish that a larger size and bolded font be used here.)
  •    Sometimes the window shows "Recents" amd Favorites. There are several files shown, but I do not know how to navigate this area.  What is the intended use of the Recents and Favorites screen?
  •    Sometimes there appears the Recent and Favorites AND a popup at the lower right corner that shows (~125) files waiting to be synced.  These files are apparently left over from my first and only full PC backup that was initiated two days ago!   I have  not as yet noticed a file size larger than 4 MB. But I have not had the opportunity to scroll down the displayed listing of files waiting to be synced.

I was hoping to be able to open File Manager, but the popup window is not always shown .... and I have not neen able to get to the File Manager.  Is there a way to callup and access the popup window ? and provide an opportunity for me to explore the V Clouds files with the Windows File Manager?

Is there a method to stop the auto backup to V Cloud whenever a new/modified file is generated?

I hope that some one steps up and gives me some guidance on how to proceed, and/or let me know what I am doing incorrectly, what steps I should do, etc.

If I am unable to get these issues resolved, my question would then be: How do I access and delete files that are now stored in the V Cloud? The PC's slowness, apparently due to running the V Cloud program, is unacceptable.

Thanks for reading about my problems.
