I upgraded from an s10+ to a s23+ before traveling to Europe. I was told by the Verizon rep to upgrade to the highest price calling plan so I could call from Europe to Canada (I live in the US). When I tried to call from Italy to Canada the call wouldn't go through. I got a hold of 1 Verizon rep who tried for an hr. but couldn't figure out what was wrong. My husband found if we called from the # stored in contacts it would connect but not by just dialing the #. This didn't help when we needed to call places that weren't in our contacts. Attempted numerous times to get assistance again(several hrs of trying) with no luck. I put my phone on airplane mode & used my husband's. I returned the upgraded phone today & got no help from the rep there. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told she was on a conference call (she had literally just walked through the door). I asked if I should call her back or if she would be calling me and the rep said he didn't know but he'd give her my #. I am now out $50 for the restock fee, my plan cost went up as I couldn't go back to the old one and I paid for a plan that never worked!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! We have 4 accounts with Verizon but are planning to change all of our service.
