1 person isn't receiving my text messages

topic.  The person, my aunt isn't blocked from me and vice versa.  I can call her cell phone no problem, but she can't receive my texts.  I live in NJ, and she lives in WA, and I know it isn't location, because her husband received my text no problem.

Help! Thanks.

I am having a similar issue. I am not getting text messages from my girlfriend or my mother, but my sister and my girlfriend's mother can text me without a problem. I checked and neither are blocked from me. I just got this as a replacement phone less than a month ago as my old one would no longer turn on. I'm liking the android less and less each day.

I just got a reply from a text I sent a week ago. The person thought I sent it today. How strange is that? Anyone live in the South Jersey area...I've had more than the normal problems with my Droid X since the storm in July.

I am having a similar issue - texting select contacts.  I had no problems texting these friends before, but now messages will not go through/I can not reply to their messages.  All three friends are fellow Verizon customers who are also using the andriod platform. Very annoying. HELP!

Hi steviejinnj,

Are you still having text messaging issues? I use this feature constantly and I can understand how important it is to be able to send and receive text messages to all contacts. First we would need to look at the areas involved, please post the ZIP code for both locations. Is your aunt's phone a Droid X as well?
As a first troubleshooting step please reprogram your device by dialing *228>send>option 1>power off/on, and then test.
Please keep in mind that this is a peer to peer forum and while our Social Media team monitors the posts, the best way to get immediate assistance for critical issues (such as undelivered messages) is to call 800-922-0204 from a different line to troubleshoot your device or send us a message on twitter at @VZWSupport.
