2.2 changed my phone!!! Help!

So I received the 2.2 update on Saturday and I noticed that my phone has changed a bit both good and bad.

I lost "show suggestions," and "auto-complete" feature for typing, therefore making it a bit harder to type since I got used to it.

I also noticed that my calendar through gmail used to show a block for events that were "all day" and now they do not show up unless I click on the day.

Any help would be great

For keyboards settings click menu>settings>language and keyboard

Settings can be changed forf it in there.

I am unsure about gmail.
