1) My Windows XP laptop can see the Driod 2 hotspot - but when the laptop trys to connect to the hot spot, I get an error message stating " The network you are trying to connect is out of range or is no longer in service"...

I have 4 bars of signal ..    Any ideas on what the issue is?

I also have a Vista laptop - works perfectly with the hotspot.... wierd.

2) I gave my hotspot and password - now I need to change it - how do you change the password?

Thanks in advance for the help

Do you see the 3G symbol on your phone or EV?  This indicates that you are in a 3G mobile Broadband area.  You may want to enable CDMA data roaming.  This could incur roaming charges.  The steps are below.  Hope this helps!

Enabling data roaming may incur roaming charges.

  1. From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).

  2. Touch Settings.

  3. Touch Data manager.

  4. Touch Data Delivery.

  5. Touch Data roaming.
Note Enabled when a green check mark is present.

    • If presented, to acknowledge possible roaming charges, touch OK.
