Using "TestMy.net", I have an average download speed of 1.5 Mbps.  Is this good, bad, normal, etc.?

Thanks

1.5mbps is a good speed for 3G.

I will say those that I posted above are at the top end of my tests. I have seen as low as 300 kbps in some locations either all the time or in some locations some of the time.

All from my phone.

Open the Speedtest.net app > results view > select an individual result > touch the mail icon at the top of the screen > pick your email "share" type. I chose gmail in this case. In the compose text box, long press to get the select all text. Adjust the selection area to remove your signature if necessary. Long press again to select the copy to clipboard. Open the browser (I am usually signed in already.) to the thread on VZW community(mobile version) that you want to post the information to. Long press the reply text box to get the paste option. Paste the text. I will sometimes delete the lat/long and the ip address information. When the text is satisfactory hit the "Post" button.

Anything else?

On my computer I just hit the copy button to get the link to the image.  Now you can see just how sad my DSL (through a WiFi router) is now.

The 2.87 Mb/s down was a wireless test through my six year old wifi router to a dsl modem that is just as old. It was a test that I ran super quick just then to get to the copy view. According to dsl company website, I'm maxed out at 7 Mb/a in my area. I have seen in the 4+ range on it but not last night.

(I couldn't sleep so I am up reading this forum. :smileysad:)
