When I connect my laptop to my Droidx 3G hotspot it tells me that IM getting only local internet. Can someone please tell me how to fix this? I've tried changing the WPA2 to WPA, changing the channel all the way from 11 to 1 but nothing seems to be working am I doing something wrong?
The troubleshooting you have done thus far is recommended. I would also recommend the following:
Step 1 – Ensure you are getting a adequate signal. If not, try relocating the device. (Something in the immediate location could be affecting the service received)
Step 2 - Soft reset (power off the device, pull the battery out for 20 seconds and place it back in)
Step 3 – Try changing the password on the encryption (I have listed the instructions in an article below)
