I see from prevoius posting in July that this was an issues. It is now September and I lose connection after about 10 minutes. I have done the *228. Has anyone solved this problem?

I'm working on a solution, but it seems that the issue lies within the Android OS, and thus a software update could solve the problem. I have no issues with my 3G connection and tethering when using Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), but on 2.2 (Froyo), I do.
By the way, I got Android 2.3 unofficially from a third-party developer. Uh oh, you know what that means! Warranty Alert!!! VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID VOID haha.
