A Few Observations, Not Complaints...

I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Droid X (for what I had to pay for it, I had better...)

The ring volume is lower than the original Droid. Curiously enough. It hasn't been a problem because I use a Jawbone 99% of the time, so the weird little tone goes off in my ear.  I just have to load my cool Tower of Power ringtones, then I can decide if it's an issue for me or not.

The curious phenomenom of the saved texts in the calling history doesn't bug me too much. I'm not texting my credit card info or proprietary business secrets. But I have to wonder, whom at Moto thought that this was a good idea? Share whatever yer smokin' there, Dude...And does it seem as though the Contacts part has gotten...rather...busy??

I haven't heard the female voice saying Verizon Wireless yet, as I just read about. Geez, I can imagine driving home at 2am after a show and suddenly hearing that. Like I don't have enough pants to wash already after a road trip.

The Visual Voicemail threw me for a minute. I didn't realize that the included voicemail app actually takes care of the visual part. I downloaded the Verizon Visual Voicemail app and when I went to install it, I was sternly (kinda) invited to un-install the app and use the included voicemail app. Very well, then.

Battery life is improving by the day. I got it Friday the 16th, and it's getting better and better.

And where are all the headset Voice Dialing fanfolks? The Droid X does it. I've done it. I am doing it. I've never done it before. I'm more worried about folks that drive and apply make-up in the morning (gotta love the entertainment business).

More later. Still luv the Dx...
