A few issues

I bought this phone after my DroidX was submerged in water about a month ago.  I am already on my second Bionic.  The first one was randomly shutting itself off and the battery was draining within 4 hours with minimal use.  By minimal use I mean maybe 5 minutes on facebook and checking the time a couple times while working.  I received my replacement "new" bionic last week and I am already having the same problems.  I went about 5 days without installing any apps and it was randomly shutting off then as well.  So I can't blame the problem on an app.  I bought the extended battery and after 9 hours it is already at 10%.  Wi Fi is off.  Lte is off.  Task manager is supposedly killing my apps.  A little angry that I am stuck with this phone since it has been over 14 days.  I loved my droidx but this has been nothing but a disappointment. I shouldn't have to wait for an upgrade, then phone should have come out with the upgrade already.

Get rid of the Task Killer...that is most likely the reason for battery drain. Many Verizon reps suggest to use the task killer but all it does is kill apps that keep coming back on, then kill em again, then come back on and so forth so the repetative process is using battery/processor resources

Also, there may be a third party app draining it, its always difficult to determine which one. When I first got the Bionic I downloaded several apps, then deleted about 3/4 of them since I never used them and the battery life improved dramatically.

It is really weird though, when I go to see what is using my battery, it is usually an app that I have not used in days. i think Maps is a real energy hog.
