Accidently let Droid Mini run out of battery, now wont charge or turn on after charging it for 12 hours

I've had it plugged in all day (12 hours) with the original charger and it still won't light up or turn on. I tried my charger on different outlets to make sure it wasn't the outlets. Also had it plugged in the car, to make sure it wasn't the charger. I run my own business and depend on this phone. I even had a customer stop by the house, worried that something happened to me! Any suggestions?
