Adobe DRM ebooks

Even after installing a compatible app for the adobe digital editions crap for being able to load my purchased ebooks onto my Droid X, (I have Aldiko which is seeming to be the best one...) the phone will not allow me to connect to the Adobe DRM server to authorize the phone to access my ebooks...even if I put them on my phone via usb....adobe digital editions will not recognize the phone until it is already authorized...anyone have any suggestions or experienced the same thing?  I would really like to be able to read my books that I just bought without having to sit at the computer all the time

Why cant you download books and copy them onto sd card/ebook like i do? I like Moon+Reader better

Couple of questions.

Have you authorized the device through Adobe Digital Editions on your computer?

Where are you purchasing the ebooks from? Do they have android application themselves. I know the Nook application handles their own DRM content seamlessly.
