Is anyone else experiencing this? I finally got updated to 4.08.605.2 after many failed attempts (thanks Verizon for that by the way) back in late January and ever since then, my gmail won't synch up like it had been. I went into my settings to see if it was still set to auto sync and it is so there doesn't appear to be any reason why it shouldn't be working correctly. I can manually force it to check for email by going into my account and asking for it to update but that sorta defeats the point of having it set up to check automatically.
Anyone have any good ideas or solutions that worked for you?
I lost all my contacts when I got the upgrade last night...I got them back, but I can't seem to upload now. UGGG!

I agree with you, it is an inconvenience to have to check manually multiple times in a day. I suggest you navigate to Settings>Accounts & Sync>Tap G-mail>Uncheck and recheck sync G-mail, Calendar & contacts>Power cycle the device and test an e-mail. If you are successful great and if not you will need to complete a factory reset and re-add account. This step will erase everything on the device so be sure to back up prior. You can complete this step by following the visuals here . After the device resets please reactive it by dialing *228 send and choose option 1. Please observe the e-mails and let me know if this was successful for you. Thank you.
