Went into a store, they said "upgrading the network" and the outage should be over soon. Too bad the idiot salesman tried to replace my SIM on the thunderbolt first. Now I can use the phone for anything.

No 3G no4G. Technical support said it was a nationwide data outage and they were working on it. Funny, RIMM was down for two days last week as well.

Data Connectivity ISSUES:
Happened several times during the past three days hours - iintermittant data connectivity outages lasting 1-3 hours. I'm not aware of weather-related situations that could be at the root of these outages; Now I know how RIM users must have felt last week.
I wouldn't bother trying to call Customer Service any more - I'm sure they are telling customers the same thing and I grew weary of being on hold or hearing the pre-recorded message that there is high call volume.
Hopefully the problems will be resolved soon and more permanent solutions put in place to ensure system reliability.

Mine has not worked for weeks. It comes on every once in awhile. Definately does not work in a building anymore, where the old network always worked.

Thank you all for your engagement. I appreciate your help.
@jsprake1,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the 3G connection on your phone. I do not show any outages in your area. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, have you tried rebooting your phone or performing a hard reset?
It appears like you have the LG Dare. You can reboot this phone by simply removing the battery for a few seconds. If the reboot does not fix the issue you can attempt a hard reset. Below I have provided the steps:
From the main screen, tap Menu
Tap Settings & Tools
Tap Phone Settings
Tap Security
Enter Phone Lock Code ???? displays,
enter the 4 digit lock code ( default: last 4 digits of phone number ).
Tap Reset Default
Preference settings will be set to factory defaults. Your user data will NOT be erased. Press <OK> to continue. displays.
Tap OK to continue.
Tap Revert
The phone will power cycle.
If you are still having an issue with 3G on your phone after performing the above suggestion, please let me know and I'll be happy to further assist you.
