All of my icons appear with an unknown foreign language.....

Today my phone's icons are labeled with an unknown foreign language - looks like polish. I made no changes. Did I get hacked? How do I get back English icon labels?

menu>settings>language & keyboard, of course, if it's in Polish, you may not know what's what.
