There is not an exact date, but it will be soon. I guess less than 2-3 weeks

There is a leaked ROM already out though.
It is unreal that Verizon is said to have X and Droid updates out or going out in next few days yet Incredible has no word.
Incredible owners have waited so long for their phones, you would expect them to at least push an update a bit quicker. If Evo and Desire we not already pushing updates, I would blame HTC, but this is all on Verizon.
Is there any Verizon employees who can actually give us a DATE so we can stop waiting.
The article posted, states the Dinc is getting the update at the same time.
"Verizon customers using the DROID, DROID X, and DROID Incredible have been wondering exactly when their devices will get the upgrade to Android 2.2 for some time now. According to a tipster reporting to Android Spin, they won't be waiting much longer, as those three Droids will be updated to Froyo beginning August 6th. The source explained that the roll out will begin on Friday, August 6th, with all devices receiving Froyo by August 15th."
I get my Dinc on the 5th, will froyo be included on it or will it just update the next day like everyone elses???
IF the update starts rolling on the 6th, your phone will not have it but it will updte when your turn is to update,,,,, assuming they do a staggered rollout.
However, there are reports of Droid and X from official sources and none for Incredible, so dont hold your breath.
i'll believe it when i have it.

Agreed, this phone is only a couple months old, for those of us lucky enough to get one,
Time for Big Red to Give the Incredible some Frozen Yogurt too.
