Awesome.  Just figured out that little counter they have on the Android page @ http://phones.verizonwireless.com/motorola/droid/?cmp=OTC-Droid-redirect1

 

Can't wait!  Looks like they will be fully functional, apps and all...   Smiley Happy

 

If that's true, this would be a mjaor step for VZW, allowing customers to customize their phones, no more locked up yucky OS.
