Android vs. iphone

Lately some of my apps that was android apps are now stating updating? Goto market to update and now it states "goto apple store for current version"? Verizon is adding iphones to there network, meaning android will lose half their apps to apple?
I dislike iphone for limited multi function etc. hint I switched to android! Is this going to be trend, to push out existing customer to use apple products?
ABC4 APP HAS SWITCHED to apple, has anyone having the same issues?

There is no way this would happen. Android market and iTunes app store are completely separate and, other than their "recommended apps", Verizon doesn't determine what goes in which store, not to mention android and iOS are different and won't run the same apps.

I do agree, two different os and two different companies. That's why I can't run an app that sold out to go with apple store and not with google market.. Not a big deal just wondering why ?
