Any way to extend the screen timeout?

I've searched all users guides and settings on my phone and can't find a way to extend this - it gets to be annoying having to press the power button all of the time.  Any feedback is appreciated!  Thanks - sb

Display,

The fourth one down, screen time out. (Your options range from 30 seconds to 30 minutes.)

Mine times out at 15 seconds, regardless of the stting.

Any thoughts - do I need a new phone?
