Apps not fully functional

I've noticed on a couple of apps that they are not fully functional on my device. I used to have at least one on my iPhone and it worked perfectly well. The Chase bank app is a good example. I open the app and am given three options: log on, find an ATM and contact us. It used to be that when I logged on, I would get the option to look at all my accounts and do a variety of banking functions (deposit checks, transfer balances, pay bills, etc). Now, all I am able to do is to check balances. The screen shots in the market show the other tasks I would like to perform. Not very functional.
I have also installed a notepad app, but once I entered one note, the only thing I'm able to do is edit that note, not create new/additional notes.
My calendar app gives me the option of setting reminders, but they don't alert me when they should.
These are just a couple of examples with my apps. Is this a problem with the Bionic being so new?
Please advise. Thanks!

Apps that work on the iPhone, but not as well on Android, you will need to contact the developer. Most iPhone apps were created first, and then the Android apps were created. Most developers do not put as much time into the Android apps. Some developers just haven't had the time to make the Android apps as functional as the iPhone apps.
Its not a Bionic or Android thing. Its all up to the developers.

Is there a way to search for apps developed specifically for android?
All apps in the market have been done for Android.
The only way to see if an app is only done for Android exclusively, is to check out the developers website of an app you are interested in.
