I just purchased the Droid 2 by Motorola and am having some problems setting things up. I am used to my blackberry! Is it possible to assign contacts a ringtone for text message? I figured out how to give contacts their own ringtone for phone calls but like to know who text me by the sound so I don't have to look right away! Also would like to know if I can give incoming text, facebook notifications and other notifications a different ringtone. Can someone please help me, I am not too good at this thing!
To give each contact a different notification tone for texting, you'll need a 3rd party texting app such as Handcent.
You'll also need an app to get different notifications for email, texting, facebook, etc.
