My auto rotate is not working when I open the Browser, it defaults to landscape. My Auto-Rotate is selected in the phone settings and it works in other areas, just not in the Browser. I have powered off and even took the battery out to no avail. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Just a Reminder If you have a Droid Razr or Maxx the Battery Cannot be Messed with.. but it sounds like you already have. Do you realize you just Voided the Warranty.!!!!!

I hope someone in this particular forum (Droid Razrr/Razrr Maxx) could help you. Not having had or played with a Droid X2, I haven't a clue on how it is set up. You might have better luck going to the Droid X forum. Sorry!

The Razr used to have a problem with autorotate before ICS. I haven't heard of it since the upgrade. Try the X2 forum as mortb suggests.

Disregard my first Post: after Realizing you Owned a Droid X2 instead of a Razr: A Battery Pull when performed will Soft Reset the Device.. On the Auto Rotate it's hard to Call you might Disable it in the Settings and Do the Soft Rest then Go back an check it to Re Enable it..
