Just curious is there a place to add to some of the issues that the Moto Bionic is experiencing I went through the list of issues, but the issues I'm having weren't listed I already contacted Motorola. However if Verizon is the one handling the problems with an OTA I would like to inform them of some of the issues I have had. If you know I would greatly appreciate help on how to contact them with my issue. Thanks

Don't hold your breath waiting. Take a look at the Samsung Charge forum here to see how timely fixes for similar issues on the Charge are. We have been waiting for months. First the update fix was supposed to come out in summer, then specifically August, then September, now it's October and we are still waiting with only rumors. Leaked GB has been out for that phone for a while but no sign of the OTA release.
Here is one such thread: http://community.vzw.com/t5/DROID-Charge-by-Samsung/Charge-dropping-3G-service-quot-Network-not-avai...

4. Issue: Non-branded Chargers:
- The XT875 can only be charged with Motorola or Verizon Wireless branded chargers.
- Action: No work around required.
- Resolution: No resolution required, working as designed and approved by Verizon Wireless.
5. Issue: USB Cables:
- The XT875 can only be used with Motorola USB cables.
- Action: No work around required.
- Resolution: No resolution required, working as designed and approved by Verizon Wireless.
I have a bunch of various types of micro USB cables and they all work for charging and data. I assume it's just the response from Verizon that they only support branded chargers and cables.
7. Issue: Touchdown Compatibility:
- Nitrodesk’s Touchdown will not function on the XT875.
- Action: No work around required.
- Resolution: No resolution required, working as designed and approved by Verizon Wireless.
I've been using Touchdown since day one of owning my Bionic. This is the first I've heard of a problem with it.

Yep, me too...don't know why some people have trouble with non-Moto cables...nor why VZW says "it supposed to be that way" when it actually isn't that way.

Any update on rumors about when this update will be pushed out? I guess I am luckier than others on here and don't seem to have the connectivity issues nor the headphone whine problem or others that are reported here.

I am not going to wait for an update. I just paid almost $300 for this phone and the data connection craches all the time. Obviously giving me a new phone will not help. Then I woke up this morn with the black screen that only could be resolved by pulling the battery. Very very bad for a customer to have to pull the battery all the time to have a working phone. They should not have released this phone. I am not going to hold my breath and hope they fix it with an update that might or might not happen.
My LG Optimus never had any problems, and it is a Metro PCS phone (besides signal in my house). Since that phone I have tried an HTC Evo, 3 HTC Evo 3d's, A T mobile HTC Sensation, A Motorolla Photon, and now this Bionic. Every one of these phones is beta quality with huge problems or small very annoying ones that make them all unreliable. I did have a HTC ATT Inspire which worked very well. I should have kept it, and think I might go back to it, even though it has yet to be updated to Android 2.3. I have to be able to get calls from sick family members, etc..
I figured Verizon would not sell a android phone that wasnt well tested. Verizon has a great reputation. As I type this I lost my data connection...

I agree with you. I think you should fill out a complaint at FCC.gov, I did. Verizon does not care about customers, but maybe they will listen to the FCC (maybe not though, big business trumpls government)

im pretty skeptical about this update myself...the TB had the same data connectivity problems after its initial release and the 'big update' did nothing. Im with the previous poster...every Droid on Verizon has had issues, some more tolerable than others but either way its been annoying. I love this phone when it works...just unfortunate the only time it works is when its on WiFi.

When you get right down to it, it's probably more about Verizon's defective 4G network than anything else. Why else is every 4G phone afflicted with this data issue to one degree or another.

Because they all use a dual chip solution. I'm hoping/expecting that once we get an integrated 3G/4G chip a lot of these hand off issues will go away.

Mike, not sure why that would be. Just using an integrated chip instead of 2 chips doesn't ensure this issue will go away. It might simply combine the functions of the 2 chips into one without any substantitive change.

Part of the improvement will be the move to 28nm manufacturing process. The rest is due to general efficiency that comes to integrating the radios. I don't know the details but I think it's fair to think that one chip designed to handle both LTE and CDMA technology will be able to swap between them better than a year old CDMA chip and a new discrete LTE one.
It's more than an integration, it's a whole new SOC.
