I'm having all kinds of issues with my Bionic. I'm getting the unfortunately common Black Screen of Death sometimes as much as 4 times in a week. I've had programs launch without any interactions; this has happened with sever pieces of the bloatware including DLNA and Verizon Video. I've also had settings turn on or off without interaction. I've had airplane mode turn on, wifi turn on, LTE turn off and bluetooth turn off. I stopped by a store and asked if they had had similar complaints from other people and one of the workers there said she had experienced similar on her phone, but that turning off LTE and turning it back on fixed it. We did that and I thought it was pointless, but it seemed to work for a few days at a time, but it sometimes doesn't work. I shouldn't have to do things like this to make my phone work. Wished I would have stuck it out longer with the original Droid and waited for the Galaxy Nexus.
Tacojohn48, thanks for sharing your concerns with your Bionic. I understand you being upset over having these issues with a brand new device. We have seen other reports of the screen going black & freezing and our product team is working with Motorola on a fix. I do not have a date for the resolution on this time, but once a fix is available it will be pushed to your phone.
I have not seen the issue with random applications opening on their own. Make sure if you have an antivirus to uninstall that application as I have seen one in particular cause this same issue on other phones. If no antivirus and applications still turning themselves on and off, I would suggest a factory reset.
