BUMP charging your battery

Here is a way to build or restore more power into a Li-Ion battery...BUMP charge it.

I have done it for years with several phones..  Just plug in the phone to charge the battery.  Then, on your Samsung Charge Phone, when the blue colored battery appears in the "upper LEFT corner" of the phone's screen with 100 printed in it unplug the phone for 2-3 seconds.  Then plug it in again until it again shows the 100 in the upper left corner battery symbol.  Do it 3 or 4 times.  That's it, it's been BUMP charged.

Here is "someone else's" write up on BUMP charging in a slightly different way.

To bump charge your phone, turn it off completely, and plug it in to charge the battery.  Wait until the indicator light shows a full charge but do not yet turn the device back on. Instead, disconnect and immediately reconnect the power cord. The device will now accept more charge before saying it is full. This disconnect and reconnect process can be repeated multiple times, each time squeezing just a little bit more into the battery.  NOTE:  Compared with the way I do it, this procedure does it with the phone turned off (see URL below).

Note re the Samsung Charge phone:  If you do it this way by turning the phone off (I have done this way with my Charge phone) you will see a battery on the black screen with a green colored area showing its charge.  As it approaches full the entire battery shows more and more green color.  When it is full it will print 100 on the green area.  Just unplug it and replug it in a few more times waiting for the 100 between each unplug and replug.   By the way, on a Charge phone the battery picture shown on the black screen looks like a regular old fashioned flashlight battery.

Here is where I found "someone else's" method of BUMP charging.
