Mmmm....yes...the more I learn about this device the more I like, even though Motorola is not as girlie as most other devices by history - it has been around for - what 70 years? Tried and true and pretty reliable. I really like the fact that everything is taken care of when I set it up and it just auotmatically has services pre installed via Google. So far so good, puurr.
Searched for back up info but mostly found comments about other devices and it looks like it s an App? Pardon this feline but I am a new smartphone consumer but I was hoping for any good advice i this area. I see comments about an SD card too. The case I put on I am unable to remove to see what this is about first paw (hand), so I peered at some demo pics.
Wouls much appreciate any comments whilst I go curl up - Thank you

I've always said Android is simply the best.I am a female too. Looks come last to me with phones. Features is what comes first on my list. I got the very first Android phone and am still loving it. Simply the best....better than all the rest...
About your question, backup assistant doesn't work with the android phones on Verizon. Check out this other thread I found-->Backup Contacts

Great One - good to get some personal feedback. I am still training my toy and enjoying it. Only complaint I may have at this point is that my Droid is not programmed for foot massages. If that's the worst it can do. Not too bad. Also loved your comments on the Apple Nexus one controversy. Thanks for the info Puurrr. PS - spell check prefers Druid as opposed to Droid (smile)
There's a few things I don't like about my G1,but still love it. The phone has everything I need/want. If you have any more questions about your phone, feel free to ask.

Do a search on Market for an app (I think it is still free) called Lookout Mobile Security. It is awesome. Backs up your contacts, photos, etc. automatically when you set it to, scans for viruses, and can help find your phone if you loose it. (no I don't work for them, just very happy with that app)
