Battery died, recharged phone, now no screen!

My phone died, I recharged it.  Now the screen won't come up at all.  I took the battery out to reboot the phone, nothing.   The home keys at the bottom light up white as normal. My alarm was going off, so I made the " swipe motion" on the screen like I normally would to turn it off....it worked.  However, there is no picture/screen?  Please help if you can!  Thank you!!

Mine did the same thing and it turned out the battery's life ended. I put a new one in and haven't had problems since. Well, not those problems. I'm having others now but I don't think the two are related. Might want to try a new battery. If you go into the store and ask them, they'll check so you're not having to waste money on a new one to find that doesn't work.
