My Droid X Battery Usage shows the Android OS is at 95%. My battery only last about 5 hours as long as the OS is at 95%. I don't know what is causing this situation. It is intermittent in this mode. Don't understand why it does this or how to get it out of this mode to get it to stop using up the battery.
Try booting into Safe Mode and see if the OS still has the same level of load, it may be a misconfigured app installed that is causing this,,,
Power Device Off First.....
Push and hold the menu key and power key at the same time until you see the Motorola emblem, but continue to hold the menu key until the phone boots.
You should now see Safe mode in the lower left corner of the screen.
Another tidbit of additional information, after the battery reached full charge, I remove it and reinstallled, started up the phone. Now the Android OS is at 2%. Still don't know why OS uses up so much power when it's at 95%.....
